A WARM WELCOME

The unit welcomes back an old face to 111 Squadron, WO Wild, lets find out more..

How long have you been in the Corps?

13 Years (Approx!)

What have you done in the Corps?

Bisley, Belgium with the band, Warcop (Numerous times!), Adventure Training.

I completed my Gold D of E whilst in the Corps also.

What would you say were your most memorable Corps moments?

Laying a wreath at the Menin gate in Belgium.

Receiving a lord lieutenants certificate for my contribution to the Corps.

1338 (Seaham) Squadron

111 (Sunderland) Squadron

36 (Hetton) Squadron

2214 (Usworth) Squadron

Wow, quite a few! So, what made you return to 111?

An urge to be a part of the best Squadron in the Corps, once again!

I am always up for a new challenge and working with new people.

Due to work commitments, I can offer more and fit into the Squadron’s routine better.

What do you do in your spare time?

Other than the Corps?! (What spare time!) I like shooting, cars, adventure training and spending time with my new wife.

We’ve heard you have a lot of memorable phrases, but do you have a life motto?

‘The three C’s—Cool, Calm and Collect.’

‘Don’t lose your head when others around you lose theirs.’

‘Its not personal!’

Thank you WO Wild, we look forward to working with you!
