AIR CADETS REUNITED
111 (Sunderland) Squadron is preparing to open its doors to the past with a reunion for ex cadets and staff.
The Squadron, based in Thorney Close, will be throwing a war time theme barbeque on June 15th welcoming old faces aswell as existing cadets and their parents.
James Yeo, 20, Media Communications officer for the unit said: “I think this is a fantastic opportunity for ex cadets and staff to see how the squadron is doing now, I hope that it will be a unique experience and a great chance to find old friends.”
The barbeque is scheduled for 1 o’clock on the Sunday afternoon, at the Squadron HQ on Tay Road, no ticket is required for the event.
